Best Modern Routine of 2008Do your studio's modern dance numbers look like they were choreographed by the next Martha Graham or Paul Taylor? Has your studio found creative ways to incorporate contractions and releases into your choreography? Are your dancers able to make bent legs and flexed feet look natural yet purposeful? Then why not submit your studio's edgiest modern dance routine and let others be the judge! Videos must be from a competition in the United States that took place during the 2008 calendar year and a minimum of 4 dancers must be present in the video in order to qualify. Submissions can be uploaded here, as long as you have already created your studio's DancerUniverse.Com profile at blog.danceruniverse.com. Results will be printed in The Dancer Magazine Year in Review - 2008, hitting mail boxes across the country at the beginning of December, 2008.
